Kevin Walker:
Decreasing numbers of riders at events
Entry break even for a trial
Future Plans
This subject was debated for some time with various opinions why the number of riders at events had decreased, i.e. change of rule last year of eligibility of machines, age or riders, severity of the sections.
The last two years had seen a profit on the years activities, and BMCA still have a healthy bank balance, so the future was secure.
The meeting felt it was not possible to go back on the eligibility rule and the few riders it had affected seemed to be making an effort to fit the correct parts.
Various opinions on the severity of the sections, there did not seem to be any conclusion except that section plotters when laying out sections should bear in mind that all capabilities of riders should be taken into account.
To try to encourage more riders, forthcoming events to be advertised in TMXNews (Whats On column), Trials Central (This is already done), BMCA Facebook, and WhatsApp to be looked at with Kevin Walker.

Al Ussher has been in touch, unfortunately he would not be able to attend all BMCA events next year and asked if Luke Stratton would help out with some reports, Luke agreed.
Special thanks were extended both to Al Ussher and Pete Dawson for their invaluable help over the years with publishing BMCA reports.
