I don't know if anyone reads this page , there doesn't seem to be much activity on it, but I will give it a go. I'm looking for a decent pair of trick/semi trick forks to go on a Cub I'm building here in Australia. I don't have access to engineering equipment to modify frame, forks, wheel spindles etc etc so a set of forks need to go straight on,,,, more or less. Seller would need to parcel them up and post to me and of course I will pay for everything in advance. Hi Folks, me again from Australia. Hope you are all well and enjoying your frosty Sunday rides. There is a severe lack of classic bikes available over here so i'm looking for a decent Cub or Drayton Bantam to buy and for the owner to assist me in shipping it to Australia. I don't want a major overhaul bike,it must be a goer that starts, runs and stops as it should. I need photos first sending to my email, twinshock2@gmail.com, obviously I will pay for the bike before shipping and also the shipping costs. Ray Barrett will be the go between man to inspect the bike and give me his thoughts. I have a good idea what bikes are worth these days and also the cost of sending parts from UK to Australia. If you are prepared to assist with cleaning a bike up to be able to get through our customs inspection which is extremely fussy it will be appreciated. I've retired after 68 years performing-you can't really call it competing. I joined the Moseley club in 1952 when I started as sidecar passenger for my Dad - Tom and then riding solo from 1955. My first trial was a Pyramid club event 40 road miles plus 40 sections.. I haven't ridden since 2023 due to progressive wear and tear on my spine making walking difficult, but I still have a Bantam and a Cub in the garage. Nice to see the BMCA is still going and with the original team of Carol and Pete. Best regards to those (any?) still competing who remember me.

Sorry to report that sadly Ken Sedgley died today, Tuesday 22 July. He was 91. He was a good friend to many and a great rider. I will let you know details of funeral in due course.

It's been a long time since any comments were put onto the Guestbook, such a shame. The new season is due to start and entry forms should be on the website shortly, the fixture list so far for the season is already on the site, anyone wishing to fill in dates should contact Pete Reed on 07903 133396. New news for this season a new class has been added - See the details on the 'Classes' page of the BMCA website. We should make more use of the website, the BMCA Facebook page seemed to have problems which we are still trying to sort out.

My dear mate Colin Smith's funeral is today 13th April and I cannot be there to farewell him. He lent me his Tiger Cub for the 2015 and 2018 Manx Classic 2 day trials for which I am forever grateful. Colin and Pauline were true friends and we enjoyed terrific holidays together, we will never forget them and their friendship. Sue and I send our best wishes to everyone and our sincere condolences to Denise and Richard and all Col's closest. RIP Colin.

Hi Folks, compliments of the season to all at BMCA. Can anyone help me with a pair of trick forks for a Tiger Cub using the existing top and bottom yokes. I have limited resources here in Australia and limited knowledge of how to convert them and need them for a lovely little Cub that I built in 2013, sold , and now own again, Happy to pay the market price and all expenses involved and postage. Hi Folks, hope everyone is well over there and looking forward to your new season. Ours is just about finished now, rode in a trial last weekend in temperatures of 32c, too hot. Does anyone know whats happening at Meriden Offroad these days, I know Chris Davies sadly passed away but the website now appears to be closed so I'm wondering if the business has totally closed. Merry Christmas to all the BMCA guys and gals. I hope everyone has as good a Christmas as possible given the hand we have been dealt! I have a favour to ask when we return to riding: If anyone would be up for taking on the report writing, I would be grateful to hand things over. Unfortunately (or not), I am now very busy with work and cannot commit to the time required to compose a report and edit a video etc. I promise that it is not that hard to do - even I can manage it so that is saying something!

G'day folks, I have many good memories of riding the BMCA events during 2010-2014 before returning to Australia. It gave me the opportunity to ride with many old mates from the 60's and 70's, Col Smith, Bob Haines, Dave Hammersley, Mick Parkes, Wally Fox, Arthur Browning and many others. Col was good enough to lend me a Cub for the 2015 and 2018 Manx Classic and several BMCA riders helped me with cable problems in the 2018 trial and enabled me to finish the 2 days. At 75 years old now and still living in Brisbane Australia I feel its time to give it away and hang up the boots. To all my old riding mates over there and to all the great people I met in the BMCA over the time I was back there, thanks for being such good mates and keep yer' friggin' feet up, Cheers Galps
