Update from Charles:
I have been outside all day messing with a motorhome and was thinking maybe I should leave a message on the guest book page asking and hoping everybody was keeping well. I pretty much only ever see the BMCA guys on a Sunday, so that’s not going to happen any time soon. I haven’t had time to stop much yet, the motorhomes are getting a bit more attention than I would normally give them but I think I am going to be looking at them for some time to come. Having more time than is normal for me means some sort of tidying up has taken place which is no bad thing. I have found time to get my Fantic engine back together – it’s been apart for nearly 2 years and I knew from when I striped that it was going to present problems when it was reassembled and it did . The gear cluster and shims meant a few false starts and some blue air – I don’t have a workshop manual or exploded view which may have saved a bit of time. The gear cluster and selector barrel actually came apart together but I didn’t have enough hands to replace them that way but once I sussed that by punching out the 2 selector shafts it became fairly straight forward – I knew it should have been but could not see how, I know now but there wont be another one.
