Very sad to hear of Bill’s passing, I rode many Midland centre events where he was highly successful in the 60’s and 70’s. During my time back in Uk between 2010 and 2014 I saw him many times at BMCA events and he always made me laugh with his advice, one of his favourite suggestions was that ” You need to blow your tyres up harder”.
