Despite being properly "ring rusty" after 4 years absence, I thoroughly enjoyed the trial yesterday. Thanks to all involved in running the event, plus those who hunted down some boots for me.......(Andy and Mark) To begin with control and confidence were sadly lacking and I declined some of the sections, but as I "warmed up" improvements were noticeable.... Looking forward to next time....

I was very sad to hear the news of Pete Dawson passing away. Pete was a genuinely nice chap and always had time for anyone. I will miss our little chats and his sense of humour! RIP Pete

I lost my bash plate at shatterford yesterday. Can I ask the lads that practise there in the week to have a quick look likely spots are by the log sections but it could have dropped off anywhere.

Hi Guys, I just wanted to ask if people would mind supporting Mick Extance in his fundraising campaign: spread the word or donate? https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/mickextancedakar2020?utm_term=6G56BWXQV Mick is one of the UK's most successful privateer entrants in the Dakar and after suffering a brain tumor a couple of years ago, he is making a comeback for 2020, with the aim of raising £100,000 to donate to the hospital that took care of him. Thanks - Luke

Hi All, Pity the trial was cancelled this week, I was really looking forward to it - pesky rain! It gave me chance to play about with some videos, which are now on our YouTube channel - take a look! I have been playing with some ideas, hope they look OK to folks. If anyone has any video footage or photos to contribute - give me a shout. Cheers - Spanner

Hi all. Please bring an appetite and some cash to spend on cakes at Easthope this weekend. All proceeds going to Air Ambulance - a worthy cause indeed. Let's do Al proud and raise lots of money. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Hi All, We are fast approaching the trial at Easthope, on 13th October. Please could everyone make an effort to attend and if possible make an extra donation on the day to the Air Ambulance. It'd mean a lot to Al to see a good turn out and a nice cheque for the Air Ambulance too! Cheers - Luke

Hi Guys and Girls, Last minute notice: I'd like to get a group photo tomorrow. If possible, could we try to get everyone together before we head up to the sections, around 10 - somewhere near sign on? Just to be safe; if we could go for one more try post trial - by the big oak tree in the clearing next to section 3/4? Thanks in advance - Luke

Hi all. In spite of my advancing years I`ve decided to have another go at the classic feet-up game. To that end I have bought a lovely James springer and hope to start as soon I have a means of getting it about. This is also subject to time off from my boss who is under the impression that I live solely for his benefit! lol Hazel

If anyone setting a trial needs a hand for a day or two in the week, I’m happy to help wherever. Can’t do Saturdays due to family issues / commitments unfortunately but I’ll drive anywhere if you preferably can give me a little notice ? Dave 07814 038 982

Hi all, just need to clarify the situation regarding rigids. Howards Wood will not be set out to suit rigid bikes as I think it unsuitable, I would however look forward to riding my Panther again at Easthope Wood, Buildwas and Pattingham and would urge the organisers of thoses venues to set the Clubman route accordingly. If I can I will help where possible to set up those trials to try to ensure suitable sections and I hope to see a few more Rigids dragged out and dusted off next year.
